Yvonne Rose

Yvonne Rose, 75, passed away on September 8, 2007. Mrs. Rose was a longtime resident of El Paso. She was born on February 22, 1932 in Williston, ND to Earl Francis and Elmeada Merrymon. She is preceded in death by her husband, James W. Rose, Sr. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jim and Bobbie Rose, Joanne Rose, Richard and Katie Rose, sister Ruth Johnson and brother John (Dorothy) Merrymon. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rose was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and Past Regent of Rebecca Stoddard chapter of DAR. She was very artistic and volunteered her talents to many causes including “Doll Ladies” and high schools. She will be missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm, Thursday, September 13, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Inurnment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. Service entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
