June 17, 1930 — September 3, 2010

Ysmael Moreno 80, A Native El Pasoan, passed away September 3, 2010. Mr. Moreno was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the Korean War, In which he received Korean service medal with 2 bronze service star and the un service medal. Mr. Moreno Retired from Asarco Refinery, He had a passion for football as well as baseball, and loved and played basketball. He will be greatly missed and his memory will live in our hearts forever. Survived his loving daughter; Sandra Moreno, brothers; Jose I. Moreno, Raul Moreno, and Oscar Punzo, grandchildren; Johnny, Mathew, and Elijah Gonzalez. Also survived by longtime friend, Angela Adame, and children, Christina, and Maribel Adame who considered him their grandfather as well. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 4:00p.m.-9:00.p.m. with a vigil at 7:00 pm. at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas Mass of the Resurrection will be Thursday September 9, 2010 at 9:45 a.m. at Guardian Angel Catholic Church 3021 Frutas St. Pallbearers; Oscar Punzo, Jose Punzo, Sgt. Jimmy Punzo, Jimmy Moreno, Johnny Gonzalez, and Mathew Gonzalez Honorary Pallbear, Jose I Moreno. Interment, Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
