Yolanda "Molly" Powers

Heaven gained a new angel on Monday, March 14, 2016. Yolanda “Molly” Powers was born on February 8, 1940 and was a life-long El Paso resident. She will always be remembered for her comedic and playful personality. She loved to spend her time cleaning, trying her luck at the casino, and caring for her family. Every day we will miss the light and laughter that you brought into all of our lives. You are united once more in eternity with the loved ones that have gone before you through those beautiful gates of Heaven. Your love will always be with us in the memories and stories that you have left behind with everyone that you have come across. She is survived by her husband, John Joe Powers, her six children, John, Albert, Raymond, Frank, Charles, and Elizabeth Powers, thirteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. This isn’t goodbye, it’s only see you later. Love you more. Gathering of Remembrance will be from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Inurnment to follow at 1:30 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
