The light of our life, Yolanda Lujan, 77, passed away March 10, 2018. Born on August 6, 1940 in El Paso, TX., Yolie was a strong and vibrant soul who loved life and made sure she lived it to the fullest. She took great pleasure in dancing, bowling, and was Little Joe’s #1 fan. She never passed up a trip to the casino and was certainly the life of the party.
Her greatest love of them all was her large and beautiful family.
Left to honor Yolie and remember her endless love are her children Rebecca Rodriguez (Tony), Gilbert Lujan (Fernando) & Robert Lujan (Janette); her grandchildren Valerie Najera (Joel), Wendy Ordonez, Javier Ramirez (Zelina), Tina Lujan (Jayp), Amanda Lujan, Rachel Lujan, and Devin Lujan; great-grandchildren Julian, Aiden, Jaden, Anaiah N., Anahi, Mariah, Araceli, Andre, Xavier, and Anaiah A.; brothers Roberto, Jose (Ana), Juan (Carmen) and Ruben (Liz) and her sisters Martha Martinez (Rudy) and Irma Salas; sisters-in-law Cecilia Serrano and Gloria Serrano and many nieces, nephews, god-children, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Teodoro and Anna Serrano and her brothers Teodoro, Alfonso & Ricardo.
Throughout her entire life she nourished people around her with love, faith, laughter, and always offered a home to everyone. She is resting peacefully with our Lord and is now cashing in all her life's winnings in the greatest casino of them all.
Our family would like to thank Hospice of El Paso for their wonderful care, especially Rosemary Nevarez - RN, and Elizabeth Lopez - CNA. We also want to thank Mike Sanchez for all his help and to all our family and friends for their continuous support.
