Yolanda Irby

Yolanda Irby, 68, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on March 18, 2007. She was born and raised in El Paso, Texas on December 11, 1938. She will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, beautiful smile and caring heart. She had a great love in her heart that will be sorely missed but cherished by those she touched. Her dancing spirit will stay in our hearts forever. She was preceded in death by her father, Raul Medina; husband, Henry; and her son, Salvador Couder. She is survived by her children, Debra Salaices (Emilio Velez), Jesus Couder (Cyndee), David Couder, Victor Couder (Lorena), and Luis Antonio Couder (Sylvia); sister, Lucila Medina. She is also survived by her mother, Hortencia De La Paz and many special grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family. Visitation will be held from 6-9 pm, Thursday, March 22, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Funeral Services will begin at 12:30 pm on Friday, March 23, 2007 at Friendship Baptist Church, 7615 Matamoros. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
