Xavier Ochoa

Xavier "Chepe" Gomez Ochoa, 61, of Anthony, NM, died April 2, 2010, at his home in El Paso, TX. Mr. Ochoa was born on September 2, 1948, in Anthony, NM to Alfonso Ochoa (+) and Thomasa Gomez Ochoa (+). He was an American farmer and rancher who had many passions, from caring for livestock, to operating machinery, to maintaining equipment and facilities in El Paso, TX and surrounding cities. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and uncle that enjoyed his family and traveling. God's angels came for him to be with the Almighty. Our great loss is God's gain. He lived his life with courage, dignity and respect. He is survived by son Xavier Ochoa Jr.; daughter-in-law Elizabeth Ybarra Ochoa; his grandchildren Xavier Ochoa III, Esperanza Isabel Ochoa and Cisco Isaiah Ochoa; brothers and sisters George Ochoa, Alfonso Ochoa Jr., Jaime Ochoa, Jesus Ochoa, Arturo Ochoa, Graciela Medina, Terry Ochoa and Adela Clift. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 pm, Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, April 8, 2010 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler, El Paso, Texas.
