Wilson Sparks

With loving memory, the Sparks family announces the passing of an amazing man, a cherished husband and beloved father and friend. Wilson Sparks Sr., passed away on March 25, 2017, at the age of 97. He was born in Smith Station, Alabama on December 19, 1919 to Edward Sparks and Rosa Prince. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Yaeko Sparks, his children, Wilson Sparks Jr., Philip Sparks and wife Rosemary, Debi SparksSante and husband Rick, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Wilson served over 20 years in the Army and was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He was a proud member of the Prince Hall Masonic organizations: Pride of the West Lodge No.53, El Paso Holy Royal Arch Mason Chapter No. 90, DeMolay Commandery No. 22, Rio Grande Consistory No. 24, United Supreme Council 33º, Oro Temple No. 9 and also the VFW Post 2451. There will be a Celebration of his Life at residence: 9936 Eloice Rd., El Paso, Tx. 79924 on April 15, 2017 at 3:30 PM – 7:30PM
