Willis Wantoch, aged 86, passed away after a life dedicated to service and faith. Born with a heart for missions, he began his journey as a missionary in Panama during his early years. Later, as a Spanish teacher at Rio Grande Bible Institute, he imparted knowledge and guidance to prepare future missionaries. His passion for spreading the gospel led him to become a pastor and church planter in Juarez, where he faithfully served for three decades.
Willis will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his faith, his love for teaching, and his dedication to building and nurturing communities of faith. His impact on countless lives through his missionary work and pastoral leadership leaves a lasting legacy of compassion and service. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the communities he touched with his kindness and faithfulness.
Visitation will take place at 9:00 AM with Funeral Service at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Committal Service will follow at 12:30 PM at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 4848 Alps.
