William Blair Wood

Willy “Fingers” Wood, 53, born April 1, 1953 in Sioux City, Iowa, passed away January 9, 2007. Willy enjoyed spending time with family and numerous friends. He devoted much of his time to trucking, working in mechanics, riding motorcycles, and helping his friends. He proudly served his country as a Vietnam Veteran. He had been a truck driver for 20 years and was currently employed by Bruce Foods. He was preceded in death by his parents, Neal and Donna; and sisters, Hazel and Ruby. He is survived by his wife, Joanne; sisters, Kathy and Fran; brother, Danny; children: Brandy, Rhonda, Gabriel, Eric, and Rowdy; seven grandchildren; and his Tigger too. He will be deeply missed and always in our hearts. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm-5:00 pm, with a Funeral Service to begin at 3:00 pm, Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Interment will be private. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
