William C. Nicholson

William C. (Nick) Nicholson passed away peacefully with his family at his side on October 31, 2009. Nick proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for 24 years and a veteran of the Vietnam and Korean wars. Nick is preceded in death by his son, William C. (Chuck) Nicholson. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sandra, daughter Diane (Jeff) Humbert, sons, Mike and Tommy (Grace), 7 grandchildren and 5 Great grandchildren. Nick enjoyed the outdoors and loved panning for gold. Nick fought a very courageous battle with cancer to the final moment of his life. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, November 9, 2009 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of El Paso, 1440 Miracle Way, El Paso, TX 79925. Service entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
