William (Bill) Roger Kneeskern – March 21, 1970 – October 19, 2016 – passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a short intensive battle with cancer. Bill leaves behind a legacy that no one expected. William was an active member of McCombs Baptist Church where he was an ordained deacon, dedicated to making sure that people had contact with our savior Jesus Christ in the most non-threatening way. It was that desire to bring people to the knowledge and understanding of God that led him to the Gideon International Northeast El Paso Camp where he pursued handing out Bibles to children and actively engaged in raising funds to spread God’s Word throughout the world. Born into a military family in Fort Knox, Kentucky their travels led them to El Paso, Texas where he grew up. He graduated from Parkland High School in June 1989, where he met his post high school sweetheart, Sandra, who became his wife, July 18, 1998. Together they raised 3 future Matadors whom he was very proud of. The oldest child Elizabeth graduated in May 2016 with her Bachelor of Science in pre-veterinarian medicine, hoping one day to pursue a Veterinarian Degree. Following in Billiam’s thespian footsteps, his two sons, Christopher and Michael, are active theater members at Parkland and will be graduating June 2017 and June 2018, respectively. William has always been proud of their accomplishments. His greatest joy was spending time with his family playing all sorts of games, especially Pokémon. Bill began working at Home Depot store 0523 in November 1994, the first company to provide him with a belief that he could go anywhere. For the last 22 years he always gave them his best and worked his way to the Mill Works department. His 0523 family love him dearly and he became affectionately known as Bill in Mills or askBill.com. While working full time and raising a family, Bill pursued his Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies graduating in May 2012, hoping to become a teacher. He was proceeded in death by his brother Brian. William is survived by his daughter Elizabeth, two sons, Christopher and Michael, wife, Sandra, brother, Paul, mother and father Paul and Paula, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and very dear friends.
