William Henry Davis,

William H. Davis, Jr. was called home on Sunday, July 15, 2007. William was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 15, 1943 to Viola Shampine and Willian H. Davis, Sr. He retired to El Paso, Texas from the United States Army after 26 years of service. he was a member of Sage Hall Gospel Congregation where he was reborn in Christ. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister, Claudette. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Rita. daughters, Beverly, Sheila, TaKeisha, LaTousha, and SaMika, his 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, his brothers Harrison and James and a host of family and friends. He will be deeply missed and remembered always. Visitation 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, July 19, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast. Funeral Service at 1:00 pm, Friday, July 20, 2007 at Sage Hall, Fort Bliss, Texas. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemeteryw ith full military honors.
