Warren A. Williams, 85, was called home on January 12, 2021. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and resided in El Paso, Texas. Warren proudly served and retired from the United States Army in 1986. Shortly after he had retired, he received his Associate’s Degree in Applied Science from El Paso Community College. Warren, along with his wife, were the owners of W.A. Williams Toys and the Korea Garden restaurant. He was a deacon at the El Paso Korean Presbyterian Church as well as a part of the praise team.
Those who knew Warren knew that he had a love for many things. God being first, the love for his family, the Baltimore Ravens, along with cooking and baking, arts and crafts, singing and sports.
Warren leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Robin R. Williams, Mark A. Williams (Updesh), Gregory J. Williams, Matthew W. Williams, Penelope B. Williams, Eurie L. Martin, Katie R. Martin, along with 17 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, his siblings Mary Banks, Marleen Hayes (Maurice), Marlyn Tyson, Joseph Williams (Elsie), Roseann Collins, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Florence Williams, his siblings Walter A. Snead, Robert S. Bailey, George E. Williams Jr., Louis E. Williams, Michael E. Williams, Pat Craig (James), his former spouse Edna Williams, and lastly, his beloved wife, Chong Uk Williams.
Visitation will be from 1:00 – 4:00 PM, with a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass.
