Warren Paul Pieplow

Warren Paul Pieplow was taken to his Heavenly Home on Nov. 7th. He was born in Washington, D.C. on Aug. 12, 1939. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Edwin E. and Alma E. Pieplow. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Donna Sharon Pieplow, and by his daughter, Paula Zona (Jason) of Genoa, NV. Warren is also survived by his sister Ruth Mazar (Danny) of Fort Worth, TX. He attended Valparaiso University and TCU. He served three years in the U.S. Army. He was a fire control operator on a Nike Hercules Missile Base. Warren was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church. He served as an Elder and Vice-President of the congregation. Mr. Pieplow was an examiner for Lawrence Systems. He also was an owner/lessee of three Jack-in-the-Box restaurants in Houston, TX. For the past thirty years, he was a sales manager in the wood moulding industry. Pallbearers will Demetre Koutros, Bobby Lakin, Joe Blanco, Floyd Spears, Jr., Frank Zona and Gary Cook. Visitation will be held at Thursday, Nov. 11, from 5:00-8:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Funeral Services will be at Ascension Lutheran Church, 6520 Loma de Cristo at 10:30 am, on Friday, Nov. 12, with Pastor Vernon Schindler officiating. Interment will be at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 1:00 pm. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West. Please visit our online register book at www.sunsetfuneralhomes.net.
