Walton S. Wells

Walton "Sonny" Wells Jr, age 71, of El Paso; Texas, died at home Febrary 7th, 2012. A native of El Paso, Walt was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a gifted technician who loved to build and fabricate, and though frequently called upon to solve problems that others couldn't, he could always be counted upon to patiently share what he knew with others.Walt loved his grandkids, country music, dancing, the Dallas Cowboys, and his faithful companion Sadie. He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Ray Wells; father Walton Wells, Sr; and mother Edith Wells. Walton is survived by his wife, Fannie; son, Walt and his wife Tina; daughter, Darla and her husband Eric; three grandsons: Shane, Dustin, and David; granddaugter, Sara; and ten brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held from 11:00am-12:30pm with Funeral Services to begin at 12:30pm, Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Committal Services will begin at 1:30pm, Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vetran Affairs or the Salvation Army.
