Walter O. Wallesverd

Walter Oho Wallesverd passed peacefully in his home on February 11, 2010. He was born in St. Paul, Minn. October 31, 1936. His parents were Carl and Lorena Wallesverd. He was preceed in death by his wife Yvonne Wallesverd. He is survived by his daughters Mary Ann Wallesverd and Cyndi Wallesverd Davis, spouse Ralph, grandchildren Chelsea and Cory. Long time partner and love Jeanette Hart. Sister in Law Delyth Multhaul and spouse Bill. Niece Lisa Miertschin spouse Matt children Devin & Mattison. Brother Don Wallesverd, spouse Marlene and niece Yvette. He was a long standing member of the Masonic Lodge, The Shrine Temple, and the Royal Orders of Jesters. After he retired from the US Army , he stayed and lived in El Paso for 45 years. As a member of the Shrine he played in the Oriental Band. One of the things he loved most was to be Santa Claus for 17 years. The most important things in his life were his children and grandchildren. Everybody loved Wally. He never knew a stranger, just friends he hadn’t met yet. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 14, 2010 from 4 to 8 pm at Sunset Funeral Homes- East. Funeral Service will be Monday, February 15, 2010 at 1:00 pm Sunset Funeral Homes-East. Interment to follow at Evergreen East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
