Walter M. Anglin

Walter M. Anglin died 11-11-09, Veterans Day, at age eighty-five. Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1924, Dr. Anglin was a retired regular Army 0-6 who had service during both WWII and the Korean conflict. In addition to more than twenty-five years of military service he had worked for nearly twenty years for a major pharmaceutical company. He had opened several outpatient clinics and had numerous tours of private practice. He was a 1949 graduate of Case-Western-Reserve School of Medicine. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann (Gavin) Anglin, of more than fifty-one years, and is survived by his five sons, Alan, James, Michael, Gregory, and Robert; three grandsons, Jonathon, Cristofre, and Blake; four granddaughters, Kari, Robbie, Sydney, and Jacey; and one great-granddaughter, Audrey. We mourn the passing of “The Old Soldier,” as will his friends here and across the country. Services are private and entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
