Virginia June Girvin

Virginia Girvin passed away on Wednesday in a Temple hospital. She was born in Thompson, Illinois to Peter Nordmann and Gertrude Holdefer Nordmann. Virginia was married to Lester Anderson. He preceded her in death August 8, 1972. She then married Warren Girvin, who preceded her in death July 10, 2001. She was a seamstress. She lived in El Paso before moving to Holland two years ago. She attended First Baptist Church in Holland. She is survived by two sons, Edward Anderson of El Paso and Richard Anderson of California; two daughters, Millicent Pierce of El Paso and Bernile Hanson of Holland; one sister, Maxine Haiar of Iowa; and nine grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Monday, April 27, 2009 with a Funeral Service to begin at 6:00 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Mountain View Cemetery in Deming, NM.
