Virginia S. De Avila

The full life of Virginia de Avila came to a peaceful end on June 28, 2012, at the glorious age of 98. She was born on March 12, 1914 in Ysleta, Texas to Luis and Virginia Ochoa Silva. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Luis de Avila. She will lovingly be remembered by her half brother Jose Silva, nephew Johnny Beltran, nieces Irene Saenz and Carmen Mendoza, and great niece Herlinda Glasscock. Sweet memories of her kindness, laughter, and love of life will remain with all who knew her. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 2, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas. Funeral Mass will be said at 12:30 p.m. ,Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Sts, Peter and Paul Catholic Church . Interment will follow at follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
