Viola Del Toro

Viola Del Toro, 70, passed away peacefully in her home with her family on Wednesday, April 3, 2008. Viola was a lifelong resident of El Paso, TX. Viola was a loving and caring mother and grandmother with a tremendous sense of humor that was admired by all. Viola had a passion for music. Every torotime she sang she lit up the room and would leave everyone in awe with her strong voice and charisma. Her other passion was interior decorating. She loved to design curtains and made many homes and banks and other places look beautiful. She is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Del Toro, Sr. She is survived by her sister Gloria Perez and her children: Isaac Del Toro, Sr., Maria Flores, Irma Alvarado, Josefina Gallegos, Zelda Del Toro, Oscar Del Toro, Jr., Jesus Daniel Del Toro, and Hector Del Toro. She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sunday, April 6, 2008 from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. with a Rosary service at 7 P.M. Funeral mass will be held Monday, April 7, 2008 at 9:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Edwin Gros officiating. Pallbearers will be Isaac Del Toro, Sr; Oscar Del Toro, Jr.; Jesus Daniel Del Toro; Hector Del Toro; Richard Batista; Isaac Del Toro, Jr.; Danny Del Toro, Jr.; and Michael Villalva.
