Victor Vela

Victor Vela, 90, of El Paso, Texas, went to his final rest on March 20, 2024. Born August 26, 1933 in El Paso, Texas he is predeceased by his beloved wife Pearl and his parents, Victor and Carmen Vela.

Victor spent many years as a firefighter and enjoyed reading, especially books and articles related to WWII. He loved telling people around him about growing up in El Paso and was quite a jokester. He loved his family and loved spending time with them, especially his grandsons. May he rest in peace.

Survivors include his daughter, Patricia Minor (Jeff), his son Victor Vela (Alex), his grandsons Thomas Minor (Laura) and Michael Minor, and his sister Aurelia Medrano and brother Joe Vela (Fay).

A Funeral Mass will be on Friday, May 17th at noon at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1551 Belvidere, 79912
