Veronica Ortega

Veronica Ortega, age 56, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 11, 2023. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and a loyal friend who will be deeply missed. Veronica is preceded in death by her mother: Ana Maria Adauto and her sister: Vanessa Anouk Ortega. She is survived by her father: Ramon Ortega, her sister: Sabrina Noehmi Ortega and her niece: Marissa Madrid-Ortega. She is also survived by many extended family and friends who cherish and honor her memory.

She was born in El Paso, Texas on June 7th, 1967, and grew up in Lancaster, California. She returned to El Paso in 1998, to be with her mother, sister, and niece.

A pillar of her community, she was the owner of The Wholesome Body, a local massage therapy business, which served her clients for over 20 years. In October 2023, she achieved her dream of opening her own massage school, The Healing Arts Institute.

She will be remembered for her laugh, the joy she brought to others, and for her constant dedication to her family, friends, and businesses.

Mass will be held for Veronica at St. Luke Catholic Church on January 4, 2023 at 10:00am, with a gathering to follow in the church hall.
