Vera Rios

Vera Rios entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 08, 2022. She was a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be greatly missed. Vera is preceded in death by her loving parents; Manuel Martinez and Facunda Bustamante, her husband; Manuel Rios, and her siblings.

She is survived by her children; Elizabeth Rios-Carl (Alan), Manuel Armando Rios (Maria Guadalupe), and Gloria A. Heinze (Donald), her grandchildren; Manny Leyva (Adrienne), Celestina Curtis (Brad), Raquel Rios, Francisco Rios (Corinna), Erica Wharton (Matthew), Jose Rios, Miguel Rios, Ryan Heinze (Sandra) and Gabriela Heinze, as well as thirteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory. Attending Pallbearers include Ryan Heinze, Jose M. Rios, Miguel A. Rios, Alan Carl, Manny Rios, Manny Leyva, Matt Wharton, and Tristan (C’de Baca).

A Visitation will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home West, with a Rosary at 6:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 11:00am at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. A Graveside service will follow at 1:00pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
