Velia Diaz

Our beloved Velia Diaz, El Paso resident, born to Lilia and Jesus Hidalgo, was called by our Lord, December 5, 2011. Velia is survived by her husband of 61 years, Claudio Diaz, son, Claudio Diaz Jr., grandson, Juan Alberto Diaz, great grandson, Diego Diaz, brother and sister-in-law, Oscar and Mercedes Hidalgo, and nieces Mercedes Martinez and Amelia Olaizola. She was preceded in death by her son Cesar Diaz, Velia is best remembered for her benevolence and love of family and friends. She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be from 4-6 pm, Saturday, December 10, 2011 and Memorial service from 6-7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915 Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
