ADKINS
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Troy A. Adkins, 48, of El Paso, Texas. He passed from this life into eternal life on Thursday, December 31, 2020. Troy was born May 24, 1972 in El Paso, Texas to his loving parents, Rob Adkins† and Patricia Adkins†.
Troy honorably served in the US Navy. He proudly served and protected the community that he loved as a Fire Suppression Technician with the El Paso Fire Department and as a Canine Enforcement Officer with US Customs and Border Protection.
Troy was known for his tremendous strength, love for his family and admired for his big heart and love for his country. Troy was one of a kind and will be remembered as such. He is survived by his adoring wife; Bel Adkins, his loving children; Troy “Cory” Adkins, Aaron Venegas, Alyson Venegas, and Faith Scanlon, his brother; Roger Adkins, and grandsons; Troy Jesse Adkins and Michael Serrano. Troy will be forever remembered by his nieces and nephews, extended family, dear friends and his fellow colleagues.
Funeral Service will be held at 12:00p.m. at Sunset Funeral Homes West,
480 N. Resler Drive, El Paso, Texas, 79912.
Interment will be held at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 10:30a.m. on Friday, February 12, 2021.
