Tong Yun Aubey, 76, was born on December 7, 1935 to Kongphil Pak and Sukcha Kim in Seoul, Korea. She was born during the times of the Japanese Occupation of Korea and she and her small family were survivors of the Korean Conflict. In 1964, she married Joseph C. Aubey, III, to whom she brought joy and love for 47 years. Together they had two beautiful children, Pak Susan Matta and Arron J. Aubey. She was a member of Full Gospel Mission Church where she served as a faithful member who truly loved the Lord. She was a stay at home mom and was able to train her children up in the Lord and bring her children up in a home full of love, laughter, and joy. Everybody knew her as a strong-willed woman who spoke her mind and led by example. She enjoyed cooking, going to church but most of all picking chili peppers. On June 2, 2011, after an unsuccessful Triple By-Pass Surgery, she departed from us and went to be with JESUS and our FATHER GOD. She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph C. Aubey, III; her daughter, Pak Susan and her husband, Michael Matta; her son, Arron J. Aubey and his wife, Carla Aubey. She also leaves to cherish her memory: her niece and her husband, Yonghui and Spence McKay; nephew, Sadie Kang; brother-in-law, Yongun Kang; grandchildren: Michelle Nevzoroff, Christine McKay, Brandon Aubey, Spence Aubey, Jeromy McKay, Hailey Nevzororoff; and a host of relatives and friends. Memorial Visitation will be held at 10:30am with a Funeral Service to begin at 11:30am, Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
