Tommy Augustain

Tommy Augustain, 59, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012. Tommy was a lifelong resident of El Paso, TX, where he was a devout member of the Catholic Church, a musician, and a retired teacher of 25 years. As a teacher, he was admired and respected by countless students across the Ysleta School District. He had a passion for music and contributed his talents as an audio technician, keyboardist, and vocalist to several local bands for over 35 years. A quiet leader in the church community, he was a proud ACTS brother and selflessly volunteered his time and talents. He is preceded in death by his father Augustin Augustain, mother, Maria, brother Augustin Jr., and son Steve. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Antonia, his son Gene, daughters Jaclyn and Sarah, brothers Jose and George, sister Irene, granddaughter Eve, cousins, nieces, nephews, and an innumerable following of close friends. Visitation will be from 3:00p.m.-9:00p.m., with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Mount Carmel Catholic Church (Main). Mass of the Ressurection will be said at 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 31, 2012 at Mount Carmel Catholic Church ((Main), located at 131 South Zaragoza. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.
