Our Mom, Tomasa S. Flores, also known as "Tomi” and “Tomasita" in Spanish, "Tomy" in English and for us and our friends, she was "Mom." She was born on May 24, 1935 to Manuel and Ysabel Salazar. Preceded in death by her husband Jose de Jesus Flores, and sister Lourdes Flores and also preceded in death by her siblings, Manuel Salazar Jr., Juanita Dominguez, Conchita Caballero, Leo Salazar, and a living sister Isabel Perez. She had 8 children, Susie (Armando) Macias, Patty (Juan-deceased) Munoz, Lupe Flores, Jesse (Rosalia) Flores, Lulu-deceased (Peter) Flores, Beatrice (Rick) Castillo, Elizabeth (Benny) Rodriguez, and Veronica (Jimmy) Rios. She had 13 beautiful grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her. Her legacy will live on through her surviving children through her example of her service to God first, family second, and all else last. She loved her home and her family, always helping with our children and grandchildren. Her grandchildren were also taught how to put priorities in their life. She was beautiful inside and out and we will miss her every day. However, knowing that she will no longer be suffering with pain gives us peace. Rest in Peace Mom with dad and Lulu in God's Kingdom, until we see each other again!
