Mercedes S. Loera

Mercedes S. Loera Entered into the hands of her Lord on Saturday, June 11, 2022 in El Paso, TX at the age of 78. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be dearly missed. Mercedes is preceded in death by her beloved husband Ignacio Loera and son Ignacio Loera Jr. She is survived by her loving family daughters; Juana Loera, Graciela Loera, Yolanda Loera, Raquel Castillo, Maria Teresa Loera and Olivia Loera. Mercedes also leaves behind to cherish her memory sisters; Manuela Rojo, Julia Sanchez, 23 grandchildren, over 100 beloved great-grandchildren as well as many extended family members that loved her. Visitation will be from 5:00pm-8:00pm with Vigil/Rosary to begin at 6:00pm on Thursday June 23, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Dr. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Friday June 24, 2022 at St. Thomas More, 568 E. Lisa Dr. Chaparral, NM. Committal Service to follow at 11:00am on Friday June 24, 2022 at Desert View Cemetery, 540 E. Lisa Dr. Chaparral, NM.
