Terry Belinda Farrow

September 15, 1954 — September 25, 2020

Terry Moore Farrow, 66, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020. Terry was born in Kinston, NC on September 15, 1954. She graduated from Jones High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Terry developed an immense passion for serving others, and went on to become a RN, serving her community for over 30 years. During that time, she married her soulmate, Bernard, in 1986. Terry worked for Fresenius for over 25 years and retired from nursing in 2010. She had a substantial purse collection, only surpassed by her compilation of books. She devoted a portion of her spare time to fostering education and growth within her family and loved ones. She enjoyed Westerns, medical and crime shows, puzzles, and engaging in highly opinionated rhetoric. She was known by many names, including “Mother Love,” “Terry Bear,” “Lady Tee,” and for any child she cared for, “Grandma.” Terry is proceeded in death by her parents, William Moore Sr and Hazel Bruinton Moore; her husband, Bernard Farrow; her brother, Jeffrey Moore; her brother-in-law Kenley Gibbs; her son, Carlos Witherspoon; and her great-grandson, Kingston Lovingood. Her memory is honored by those she leaves behind: her sisters, Janice Brimage and Rosemary Cheston; her brother, William Moore Jr; her daughters, Nedra Moore, Crystal Williams, and Vonetta (Tyrone) Smith; her son-in-love Evenski Darcueil, grandchildren Vanna Moore, Miata (Donald) Raspberry, Tatiana Cox, Cody Ushry, Taequon Benefield, Brandon Roberson, Lalah Williams; and great-grandchildren Kaidence Faucette, Milania Raspberry, and Lila Williams. Terry is also survived by her lifelong friends, Ruth Best, Sebrenda Lewis, Terry Ward and Freda Ward as well as a host of nieces, nephews and loved ones. Memorial Celebration Services are still being coordinated at this time.
