Teresa C. Ortega, 79, entered into eternal rest on April 27, 2024 in El Paso, TX. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Angel Ortega; parents, Celso and Vicenta Covarrubias. Her siblings, Toribio Covarrubias, Natalia Covarrubias, Angela Granillo and Irma Munoz.Teresa is survived by her loving sons, Angel Ortega Jr. and Robert Ortega. Daughters, Christina Barrozo, Yolanda Delgado, Olga Ortega and Isela Munoz. Siblings, Agustin Covarrubias, Nicolas Covarrubias, Manuel Covarrubias, Santos Molina, Maria de Jesus Garcia and Antonia Covarrubias. Also leaving behind 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren to honor and cherish her memory. Teresa was very loved and will be dearly missed.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX 79907. A Mass will begin at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at La Purisima Catholic Church, 328 S Nevarez, Socorro, TX 79927. A Graveside will then follow at 11:15 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.
