Teresa was born in El Paso, Texas on October 14, 1941. She graduated from Ysleta High School.
Teresa is preceded in death by her parents, Asencion and Estanilasda Nevarez, her son Agustin Nevarez, and her brother Asencion Nevarez Jr. She leaves behind her daughter Maria Macias, four sisters, Juanita Mena, Consuelo Castillo, Petra Casillas and Irene Portillo, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A Gathering will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a Rosary at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina.
