Telesforo Guerra Rivera

Telesforo Guerra Rivera, 99, was born in Puerto Rico March 14, 1915 and passed away in El Paso, Texas March 1, 2015. Telesforo was married for almost 70 years to Sylvia Ruiz de Guerra. He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan Guerra and Bernadina Rivera; and son, Jaime Guerra. Telesforo is survived by his wife, Sylvia Ruiz de Guerra; son, Nelson Guerra (Veronica); daughter, Iris Guerra; sister, Maria C. Laguerra Torres; five grandchildren: Aramis, Nannette, Diego, Omar Joel and Juan-Carlos; and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4:00-9:00 p.m., with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Homes East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 13, 2015 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Evergreen East Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
