Susan Velasquez

Susan Velasquez, 87, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2012 , surrounded by her loving family. She was a longtime resident of El Paso, Texas. She was the beloved wife of the late Andres Velasquez, and dearest sister of the late Josephine Gonzalez. Susan was always a loving mother to all her children. She leaves behind two loving sons; Joseph Arthur Godinez and Andrew Emilio Velasquez; her five loving daughters: Bertha Ortiz, Rosalie Narvaez, Stella Salazar, Alicia V. Serrano and Olga Sue Gonzales. She also leaves to cherish her memory a loving sister; Rosario Chavez. Susan leaves behind 25 loving grandchildren, 45 wonderful great grandchildren and 3 beautiful great great grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be from 4:00p.m.-9:00p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 05, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas. Mass of the Ressurrection will be said at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, October 06, 2012 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Evergreen East Cemetery.
