Susan Brown

Susan Carhart Brown after a long and courageous battle with Myelodysplastic Syndrome, died in her sleep in El Paso, TX on July 12, 2011 at the age of 71. Susan was born in Jersey City, NJ and moved to El Paso in her teens. She went to Knox School in St. James, NY and attended the University of Texas at El Paso. Susan had a very witty sense of humor, and was a kind, giving person. Susan will forever be remembered by her children, Laura Gale Brown-Fox and her husband Mack of El Paso, Jeb Brown and his wife Laura of Madison, WI, Ross Brown and his wife Kathlyne of Baltimore, MD and her grandchildren Kitson Lalynn Fox, Jhetlyn Parnell Fox and Taylen Grace Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband James Edward Brown, her brother Bill Carhart and her parents Henry and Grace Carhart,. Family and friends are welcome to a Memorial Visitation which will be held from 6-7, Friday, July, 15, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home West, 480 N Resler. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions are welcome towards the Aplastic Anemia & Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) International Foundation.
