SUE ANN COULTER loving wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend to many passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022, at the age of 86. Sue was born in Ottumwa, Iowa to Ben & Sue Ann Hightower. As the daughter of a U.S. Serviceman, Sue lived briefly in New York before the family settled in El Paso, Texas where her father served at Fort Bliss. It was in El Paso where Sue met the love of her life and husband of 63 years Ralph who just happened to live next door. After Ralph’s service in Korea, the two were married and moved to Cimarron, New Mexico. The Lord brought them back to El Paso after the birth of their first son Ralph LeRoy Jr. Sue worked outside of the home in the medical field as a transcriptionist for many years before moving on to the University of Texas at El Paso where she served as the Administrative Assistant to the Dean of the College of Business. Sue loved to dance, play cards with her lady friends, travel, and laugh, and had a beautiful singing voice she was hesitant to share. She was predeceased by her son Ralph Coulter Jr., husband Ralph Coulter Sr., and daughter Claudia Lu Coulter. She is survived by her son Mike Coulter and his wife Jody Coulter. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren; Christopher, Travis, Austin, and Sydney Coulter, Juan Biel, Keenan Coulter, Kyle Rowland, his wife Ouna and son Luca, Beverly Liberato, her husband Victor and daughters Addison and Alesandra. Services will be held at Sunset Funeral Home-West, Monday, November 21, 2022. The family will receive visitors from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a celebration of life beginning at 6 p.m.
