Steven Jay Power

STEVEN JAY POWER entered into the hands of our Lord on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at his home in El Paso, TX at the age of 73. He was preceded in death by his parents Evelyn and Claire Power, and his sister Virginia McGee of Grand Rapids, MI, and his brothers; Gerald and Gordon Power of Jacksonville, FL. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Lynda of El Paso, TX, his loving children; Brandon Jay Power of Reston, VA (Shayda), Tamra Power Gregg of Plymouth, MN (Dean), his beloved siblings; Dell Power of New York (Rose), Bonnie Power Ennis of Jacksonville, FL (Bob). He is also survived by his brother-in-law Dan McGee of Grand Rapids, MI, and his loving grandchildren; Dylan (Lisa), Bailey, Evan, Aidan, and Ryan Gregg of Plymouth, MN. Steve had a successful business career in marketing, sales, new product development, and entrepreneurship. Steve had an insatiable thirst for knowledge, a passion for building and woodworking, problem solving, and never-ending determination and will. He was genuine in his love and respect for all those fortunate enough to call him dad, husband, brother, son, grandpa, uncle, or friend. Steve had an infectious smile and sense of humor that was impossible not to love. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home West, 480 N. Resler Dr. El Paso, TX. A private memorial service will be held by his family in Maple Grove, MN at a later date.
