Stephen D. Lopez

Stephen D. Lopez, 88, passed away on November 8th. Loving husband and beloved father he will be deeply missed. Born in Boston, MA on February 19, 1923, Stephen grew up in the Boston area and graduated from Boston College. He served in the U. S. Navy and is a World War II veteran. He met his wife, Virginia, while attending Colombia University’s Graduate School in the field of mathematics. He then had a successful career in New York before retiring in El Paso. He is survived by his wife, Virginia, daughters, Virginia, Kathleen, Anne, Patricia and Susan, son, Stephen, 13 grandchildren, 1 sister and 2 brothers. He will always be in our hearts. The Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, November 10, 2011 at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
