Stella Marie Craig

Stella Marie Craig, Age 97, passed away on March 14, 2021. She was born in Dallas, Texas in 1924, and later lived in San Antonio and El Paso. Having a beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and wonderful sense of humor, Stella was a warm and caring Christian person with a magnetic personality. She gave of herself, visiting the sick and elderly, helping those in need, volunteering for church activities, and contributing to numerous causes. Stella had a long career with the civil service, and was proud to graduate from UTEP at the age of 64, when she led the procession of her classmates at graduation. She enjoyed People, studying the Bible, Watching good movies, Reading, Growing Flowers , Visiting Yellowstone National Park, and the Inn of the Mountain Gods. Stella is survived by her son: J. Mark Lorette and Y. Kim Lorette; nieces and nephews: Janet Hagan and Bob Kettlewell; Randy and Rena McCaver; Diane and John Pruessner; Ronny McCarver; Sharon and Larry Lybarger. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 10:00A.M. to 1:00P.M. at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Dr. A committal service to follow at 1:30P.M. On Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave.
