Stanley Dukes Dimm, age 96, entered into eternal rest on
Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in El Paso, Texas. He was a
wonderful father and son and will be greatly missed.
Stanley is preceded in death by his loving parents;
Charles Stanley Dimm and Dorothy Dukes Dimm, his beautiful
wife Alma Dimm, and his loving son Clyde Thomas Dimm.
He is survived by his adoring sons; Stanley Frank Dimm
(Lourdes) and Stephen Phillip Dimm, and his loving
grandchild Jason Phillip Dimm (Vi). He is also survived by
many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his
memory.
He was born and raised in San Francisco, California;
Stanley served as a medic in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1946.
After his discharge, he attended U.C. Berkeley and completed his
degrees at U.C. Davis with a B.S. in Agronomy and Chemistry.
He worked in the farming industry and was also a real estate broker.
He was an avid outdoors man with a keen interest in mountain hiking
throughout the western United States, gardening and was a lifelong
voracious reader. Above all else, he was a devout Roman Catholic
who was active in various Catholic ministries. He also volunteered for
Drive-A-Meal for over two decades. His kindness and gentleness were
his constant trademark. We will miss you greatly dad! We'll all be
seeing you very soon. Rest well with Jesus.
The Dimm family is grateful to the following people and institutions

and Carol Tures, the Polly Harris Senior Citizen Center, the El Paso
Health and Rehabilitation Center, the fine men and women of the El
Paso Police Department and the Fire and Medical Services, Sunset
West Funeral Home, and St. Luke's Catholic Church.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2021
from 4:00pm to 7:00pm with a Rosary to be followed at
6:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home- West. Mass services will
be held Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 12:00pm at Saint
Luke Catholic Church, 930 E Redd Rd, El Paso, Texas.
Interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
