Soledad Bailon

Soledad Bailon, 94, was called by our Lord on September 2, 2009 surrounded by her family. She was born on February 24, 1915 to Severo and Eduvijes Bailon in Valle de Allende, Chih. Chole was a life time member of the Catholic Church serving in various ministries. She is survived by daughter Marie Fabela and son-in-law Hector, five grandchildren, Marie Oropeza, Angelica Garcia, Adrian Fabela and wife Martha, Veronica Guerra and husband Alex, Sara Hernandez and husband Ernie, beloved nephew and niece Ruben and Alvina Burrola, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Special thanks to Sierra Providence East, Oasis Nursing Home, and Envision Hospice for their care and attention. We appreciate also the support of Corpus Christi Community and its Pastor Rev. Wilson Cuevas. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas. Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2009 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Interment will be held at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
