Socorro Rayas, 83, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2021, at her home in El Paso, TX, after struggling several years with Alzheimer’s Disease. Her family was by her side.
Socorro was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, and is survived by her husband of 62 years, Alejandro Rayas; son, Alex Rayas Jr. (Susannah); daughter, Irma Rayas Banks (Daniel); three grandchildren: Sarah Rayas, Stetson Rayas and Cashlee Fox (Justin); two sisters: Angelina Cano and Jennifer Titus and brother, Xavier Mandujan. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bruno and Teresa Mandujan; sisters: Dolores M. Arias and Elva Mandujan. Socorro was a dedicated and caring person to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Visitation 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Vigil/Rosary at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina. Graveside Service will be at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
