She then moved to Ciudad Juarez, where she met her husband and true love David Schick, Sr. Socorro and her husband moved to El Paso in 1956 with their daughters Debbie and Diane and soon the family grew with the arrival of Linda, Janet and David, Jr. Socorro was a remarkably strong woman.
