Socorro W. Millis

Socorro "Sookie" Wright Millis, 87, was called to the Lord's house on September 5, 2010. She was the daughter of David M. Wright and Juanita Dovoli Wright, both deceased. She was married to Jack C. Millis, her husband of 65 years. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Marilyn Nancy Millis, granddaughter Tami K. Davidson and husband Corey, grandsons, Jerry D. Jones Jr., Christopher B. Jones and his wife Beth along with expected 1st great grandchild, brother David Wright and family, and many nieces and nephews in Texas and Illinois. Mrs. Millis worked side by side with her husband, who owned Advance Plumbing and Heating Co. for over 40 years, supervising the company office. Memorial Services will be 11:00 am, Thursday, September 9, 2010 at St. Patrick’s Cathedral small chapel, 1118 N. Mesa. Interment will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 5200 Fred Wilson Rd. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
