Silverio "Chevy" Holguin

Silverio "Chevy" Holguin, age 74, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be loved and dearly missed by all those who knew him. Chevy is preceded in death by his parents, Domingo and Jesusita Holguin, his son, Michael Holguin, brothers; Joe Holguin, Hector Holguin, Albert Holguin, and Willie Holguin, and sisters; Terry Burgess, Alicia Holguin, and Irene Holguin. He is survived by his loving wife, Albina Hernandez Holguin, his sons; Silverio Holguin Jr. (Ida Holguin), and Mark Anthony Holguin (Bea Holguin), his daughter, Jessica Marie Holguin Guizar, daughter in law, Courtney Holguin, and step-daughter Jessica Cena. Chevy also leaves his nine grandchildren; Anthony, Matthew, Ariana, Brian, Samantha, Dillon, Alexandra, Kloe, and Caleb  and his 4 great-grandchildren; Amari, Leon, Marlo, and Jiovani, his brother Pete Holguin, sisters; Emma Renteria, Bertha Sanchez, Dolly Holguin, and Connie Rodriguez who will honor and cherish his memory.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, October 12, 2024 at La Purisima Socorro Mission.
