Silas Hogg

Silas Hogg, 86, born December 28, 1920 in Quicksand, Kentucky passed away July 10, 2007 in El Paso, Texas. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for 22 years until he retired in 1964. He was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division, 319 Glider Field Artillery Battalion. He is survived by his loving wife, Emma; daughters, Phyllis Sibala and Donna Lucas; sons-in-law, Larry and Daniel; 4 grandchildren: Tisa, Darcey, Reed, and Dee; 1 great grandchild, Kasie; 1 sister; 3 brothers; and numerous friends. Visitation will be held from 10am-12:30 pm Friday, July 13, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Graveside Service with Full Military Honors will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, July 13, 2007 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
