Sigifredo Montes Chacon, 89, entered into eternal rest on March 26, 2022 in El Paso, Texas. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Agustina Montes. Parents, Martiniano Montes and Ana Chacon. Sigifredo is survived by his loving sons, Mauricio and Sigifredo ( Freddy) Montes. Daughters, Sandra Mahmood, Patricia Lopez, Maria Montes, Blanca Diaz De Leon and Angelica Renteria Flores. Brother, Gilberto Lechuga. Also leaving behind 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren to cherish his memory. A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr, El Paso, Texas 79907. A mass will begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at La Purisima (Socorro Mission) Catholic Church, 328 S Nevarez Rd, Socorro, Texas 79927. A graveside will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.
