SGT Kent Eric McCloskey

Sergeant Kent Eric McCloskey, 27, born March 1, 1981 in Tacoma, Washington departed this world on August 14, 2008. He graduated from New Palestine High School, Indiana in 1999. Joined the U.S. Army in 2001 and was stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas. He served two tours in Iraq supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. Sgt. McCloskey is survived by his wife Ashley, daughters Jayden and Jocelynn. Parents Gregory and Arleen Pitts. Brothers James, Taylor, Austin (A.J.) Pitts, and, Tanner McCloskey, and sisters Chace, Misty, and Erica McCloskey. Grandparents: Alice Baca and Fernando Baca. Father and Stepmother: Kent Eric and Beverly McCloskey. Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and very close friends. Visitation is from 10:00 to 11:00 am, with a Funeral Service at 11:00 am on Tuesday August 19, 2008 with full military honors at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
