Servando Vazquez-Veleta

Servando Vazquez Veleta, age 62, of Horizon City, TX; passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021. He was born May 30, 1958 in Durango, Mexico to Manuel Vazquez and Vicenta (Veleta) Vazquez. He came to the United States at a young age for work. It was in Torrington, WY where he met and married Mary Anne (Martinez) Vazquez. They raised six children together. Servando enjoyed living life, making people laugh, and had amazing work ethic. For the last 25 years he was employed by Kiewit, he was admired and well respected by countless co-workers. Servando was a family man, a hardworker, unforgettable. The imprint he left on those he came across will be life long. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Mary Anne (Martinez) Vazquez , their six children; Servando Vazquez, Erica Vazquez, Cora Vazquez, Steve Vazquez, John Vazquez, and Angelo Vazquez. He is also survived by his mother Vicenta Vazquez Veleta, brother; Manuel Vazquez and wife Rebecca, sister; Magdalena Rodriguez and Husband Esteban, brother; Antonio Vazquez and wife Aida, sister; Raquel Terrazas and Husband Ruben, sister; Pilar Gamboa and husband Rafael, brother; Mario Vazquez and wife Ana, sister; Guadalupe Rodriquez and husband Jorge, brother; Leonel Vazquez and wife Rachel, sister Veronica Bustillos and husband Sergio, sister; Rocio Guzman and husband Miguel, and four step grandchildren with one grandbaby on the way, and numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Manuel Vazquez and brother Waldo Vazquez.
