Serna I. Pedro

Pedro I. Serna, (Pete) loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend passed away peacefully at the age of 87. He is survived by his loving wife Guadalupe V. Serna to whom he was married for 62 years. Preceded in death by his grandson George A. Serna. Survived by, Sons; George (Arcy), Patricio (Josie), Gilberto, (Theo) Daughters; Victoria Estrada (Ruben), Estela T. Ambrose (Jim), Carmen Rodriguez (Luis), and Teresa Ponce (Rafael), Brother; Oscar Serna, and Sister Gloria Martinez. 12 Grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. “Nos Distes Mucha Felicidad y siempre te vamos extranar. Querido Padre, Abuelo, Bisabuelo, y Suegro”. Pedro leaves behind a legacy of love and adoration for his family. He was always happy and full of life. Special thanks to Matrix and Hospice of El Paso, especially Raul Villa, Armando Martinez, Martha Posada, Maura Ochoa, and Yesenia Leyva who helped care diligently for our father. ,. Thanks to family and friends for your support and prayers. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 2, 2012. Mass will be said at 10:00 am. Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Americas.
